Data transfer. The brunch welding torch has been commandeered by Danfuzz and Netik; thanks guys! For future updates go to the suspiciously familiar-looking web page at http://www.retina.net/brunch.J A N U A R Y 1 7 , 1 9 9 9
The final brunch under my "command" will be this Sunday. Yes, this will be my last brunch for a while. I want to thank all of you for coming to brunch all these years -- without you there wouldn't be a brunch! I'd also like to thank everyone who organized and hosted and cooked for the various special brunches we've had. And last but not least, thanks to Maria (whom some of you know) who had the idea of turning our brunch meeting into a "tradition."And Brunch Line Assembly will go on without me: I think it's pretty much become an autonomous, self-sustaining cybernetic organism that will continue to crush eating establishments city-wide, with or without the WAL-9000 guidance unit.
Best wishes all,
WAL-9000P.S. What will happen to the website? I plan to hang onto the website and domain name for now-- I will slowly be making available the many pictures I took and never uploaded, and perhaps even redesign it for the heck of it. But this will take a while! And if/when a new brunch web site goes up, you'll find a link to it here.
Accessed times since they changed the web server at Blarg!, which was probably sometime in July 1998. Alas, I lost the old counter number. Last update: . Send all comments and corrections to WAL-9000 (wal@blarg.net).
